After the last few reviews, you’re probably sat there thinking ‘where all ya good burgers gone?!’. Well, safe to say 7 Bone in Camberley has been an absolute treat. I’ve heard remarkable things about their branch in Southampton, so when this one opened up near me (on my birthday), I just had to go. This was definitely the perfect burger joint to resurrect the disappointment that has been the last few burgers.
Robert Johnston – A juice 6oz patty, stuffed with cheese, truffled garlic shrooms and truffle mayo, this might just be the nicest burger I’ve ever encountered. The flavours combined superbly, and this was a very appetizing, juicy, sublime burger, which oozed with delight in your mouth. The brioche style bun was top notch too. What. A. Burger. I found my 10/10..
The basket was loaded with chips, or seasoned fries as they are listed on the menu. There’s a touch of paprika on them, but they were good. There were perhaps too many, so I struggled to finish them off (I was disappointed with myself) but they went well with the burger. The menu had mac ‘n’ cheese balls and wings, so I know what I will be trying next time.
Attending on opening day, I was unsure as to what to expect, but I was mightily impressed by the staff. However, can they keep this up as time goes on? Friendly, chatty and knowledgeable, they certainly made you feel welcome. The food arrived in good time and when more drinks were needed, there wasn’t a 7 boner far away.
With neon lighting and retro cinema style lettering out front, I just knew this place would look good inside too. It was the first day, so everything was new, fresh and clean so it’s hard to fault the place. There was an industrial look inside with wood and metal furnishings mixed with a dark ambience. It was apt for a burger joint.
There was a special deal on, where you got the burger, chips and a drink for roughly £10 so it was a steal. Not just because of the price, but the quality of food also - it definitely doesn’t reflect in the price, and they could probably justify charging slightly higher (please don’t).
ALL THE BURGER YOU COULD NEED.
